This SVGA projector (which compresses to 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution) delivers high (400:1) contrast for clear, crisp images–and at an excellent price. The PJ501 offers a short focal length for versatility in any setting, digital keystone correction for a square image at any angle, and zoom. Plus, the progressive-scan component-video input allows superior video quality, while its Whisper-mode setting lengthens lamp life and maintains low-noise output. The lamp is user-replaceable.
The projector displays computer (RGB), NTSC, PAL, SECAM, and HDTV signals, including 480i, 480p, 575i, 720p, and 1080i. For better format flexibility, the PJ501 also accommodates both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Auto tuning and one-touch setup button simplify sync and focus operations. A soft carry case is supplied.
